Tips

This tool is used for the simplified calculation of one-dimensional consolidation settlement under single-case loading conditions.
The final soil state is determined automatically: NC when σ_final > σ_p, and OC when σ_final ≤ σ_p.
The drainage path length d is assigned automatically according to the selected drainage condition: d = h for single drainage and d = 0.5h for double drainage.
The input permeability k should be given in m/day, and the input time t_input should be given in year.
If C_ae,OC,A is left blank, the program automatically uses the default value 0.006 in Method A for the OC case.
